11-20-2011 - Usually we take a "bigger" trip in the Fall. This year TVA moved the outage to the fall. EVERYONE is working long hours! Most of our travels this year has been to and from the blacksmith meetings.

7-15-2011 - Mitch, Jane, Candace, Joe & Jessie went to the Chlupacek family reunion in LaPorte, IN. We had fun. Candace and jane visited Davenport, then continued onto Nauvoo, IL . We stayed and visited with Mitch's sister Vanessa in Quincy, IL. Candace finally got to visit the St. Louis Arch. We came home and collapsed!

5-7-2011 While traveling back from Michigan we made a side-trip over to Davenport, IA to visit Joe and Jessie.

While we were in the UP (Yoo-pee) for Michelle's graduation, we took some time to enjoy the sites of the area.
Some of the photos are of the snow gauge, Eagle River falls, the Eagle Harbor lighthouse, Brockway Mountain Drive and the Estavant Pines. Notice the snow and ice in the photos and remember that it was MAY!!!

We drove out to the Jacobsville Lighthouse (not in the photos) and a North Entry light (in photos). We did a little hiking up to the Hungarian Falls.
AND Yes, it did snow in MAY!!! Those polka-dot things coming down near my car are not powder-puffs! And that is not fog on the road ahead!
